5. Mardin Bienali Küratörü Adwait Singh! Mardin Sinema Derneği tarafından 2 Ekim – 2 Kasım 2020 tarihleri arasında gerçekleştirilecek olan 5. Mardin Bienali küratörlüğünü, Yeni Delhi merkezli bağımsız küratör, teorisyen, editör ve yazar Adwait Singh üstlenecek. 1992 doğumlu Adwait Singh master çalışmasını Goldsmiths’te tamamladıktan hemen sonra kar amacı gütmeyen çeşitli organizasyonlar, genç sanatçılarla workshoplar ve sanat projeleri gerçekleştirdi. Singh, zamanını bağımsız sergiler ve alternatif sanat pratiklerini teorize ve dokümante etmeye adamaktadır.

Have been awarded the CLICK Residency Sofia by the Art Affairs and Documents Foundation and the Goethe-Institute Bulgaria for July-August 2019.

Have been offered a residency as a part of the Helsinki International Curatorial Program (HICP) in partnership with Frame Contemporary Art Finland for June 2018.
Have been awarded an International Research Programme (Visual Arts) grant by The Danish Arts Foundation in 2017.

June – August 2019: Mutarerium – a project with emerging artists Mustafa Khanbhai, Priyanka D’Souza and Waylon D’Souza at Mumbai Art Room that examines other-than-human evolutionary timelines taking the sixth extinction as its point of reference.
April 2018 : Caressing History – a group show investigating the notion of a body-based historiography at Shrine Empire Gallery, New Delhi. March 2017 : ‘Synapse’ – an interim group show at the culmination of my curatorial residency at Le cha?teau de La Napoule, France which materialised sites/shrines where a connection to the largest living assemblage, Gaia could be presenced.
February – March 2017 : ‘G/rove’ – an international group show with practitioners such as The Center for Genomic Gastronomy, Tanya Busse, Elin Vister, Rithika Merchant, Krishnaraj Chonat among others that examine the mythopoetic imperative of non-anthropocentric modalities of planet sharing at Gallery Latitude 28, New Delhi.
