“The Soul of Things”, 2018, sound-body performance and sound installation, 60 min.

“ “The Soul of Things” is a vocal sound-body performance created by the artist for the biennial site-specifically. It is based on the idea that human body is “boundless.” During the performance the body’s motional/rotational vibes are supported by vocal vibrations of the performer. Expansion of the body’s density and creating a unified performance field where the multi-dimensional frequencies of space and audience are felt and filtered by the performer is the core of the performance. The vocal sound-design created by the performer during the live performance is exhibited as a sound installation in the same space for the duration of the biennial.
